16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, tiny brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with smiling expression, shaded and outlined lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 590 A 4 M Germany DRGM. Comments: Marseille, circa 1912, from their 500 art character series. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque with impressed cheek dimples, original body finish, the smiling character carries her own little flannel bunny with glass eyes.
