German Bisque Character by Heubach with Musical Bellows

9" (23 cm.) Solid domed bisque head, painted brown baby hair, painted blue side-glancing intaglio eyes, closed mouth with laughing expression, painted lower teeth, wooden torso with bellows-activated music, wooden lower arms and legs, wearing antique blue cotton dress and holding brass bells in hands. When the bellows is squeezed, a merry tune plays and the doll waves arms around. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: the delighted expression perfectly enhances the music and action.
