German Bisque Doll, 1159, by Simon and Halbig with Flapper Body

Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, accented lips, four tiny porcelain teeth, brunette mohair wig, slender composition body with elongated torso and limbs, jointed shoulders, hip-jointing at thighs, jointing above the knees, shapely lower legs with feet posed for high heels. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1159 Simon & Halbig S&H 5. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1915. Value Points: pretty wide-eyed flapper era lady with well-shaped body for wearing costumes of the era.
