Bisque woman in standing pose on bisque self-base has mohair wig, and inclined head as though reading the book she holds in her outstretched hands, wearing factory original long silk and net dress and velvet bonnet, painted brown lustre shoes. Excellent condition. Marks: 405/174 (pencil script on base). Germany, Galluba & Hoffman, the model in this exact dress appeared in their 1914 catalog as model 405/174, the 405 number referring to the bisque model and the 174 referring to the costume.
