Solid domed bisque socket head, painted brown side-parted hair, blue painted googly eyes glancing sideways and downward, one-stroke brows, impish expression on the closed mouth, five-piece paper mache body, painted shoes and socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: RA 49/410. Comments: Recknagel, circa 1920. Value Points: seldom-found googly with unusual expression of eyes, original body and body finish.
