German Bisque Lady Doll with Blonde Sculpted Hair in Very Rare Coiffure

23" (58 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with elongated oval face and strong throat, blonde sculpted hair drawn back from her face in very full rolls with little curls above her pierced ears, the back of hair drawn into a snood-captured chignon framed by arranged finger curls with sculpted hair comb, thick finger curls at the sides of face and below the chignon, blue painted eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque forearms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: very rare coiffure with extravagant details at the back of head.
