9" (23 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted blue eyes, one-stroke brows, closed mouth with downcast lips, blonde mohair wig, composition body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 101 23. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1909, from the firm's art reform series, the doll was marketed as "Marie". Value Points: superb all-original condition, with very expressive facial modeling, the doll is wearing multi-layered original traditional costume from the village of Spreewald, Germany including exuberant coiffe.
