5" (13 cm.) including tail. The black velvet cat is resting on paws,a colorful mohair ball between its front paws,with stitched ears,tiny bead eyes,whiskers,extended tail. The model is a very rare,perhaps undocumented black velvet version of the company's early lying cats. Excellent condition. Germany,Steiff,with button in ear,circa 1912.
