All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features,brown painted baby hair,large painted blue eyes with unusual brown iris-edging,black and brown upper eyeliner,rounded nose with accented nostrils,closed mouth with downcast lips,blushed cheeks,stockinette body with stitch-jointed arms,loosely-attached legs,wearing antique cotton romper suit with red embroidery,leggings,flannel laced boots. Condition: touch-up paint on hair,repair at side of face,original painting of eyes and mouth,hands worn. Marks: 2004 (? left foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse,the model known as "Du Mein",1925. Value Points: captivating expression on the very dear child with superbly painted eyes.
