16" (41 cm.) (16" x 10" ) Posed upon a wooden platform with back stage designed to represent a garden setting are six little bisque dolls with musical instruments. When knob at front is turned the dolls wave their arms,kick their feet,and turn their heads back and forth in a festive manner,as they appear to be playing musical instruments,while doll in the center leads the band. Condition: doll on bottom right is replaced head and damaged,costumes and background are original albeit quite dusty,mechanism and music function well. Comments: dolls by Gebruder Heubach,automaton by Zinner and Sohne,circa 1910. Value Points: rarer to find six doll presentation,with amusing and realistic movements.
