Paper mache shoulder head with black sculpted hair in short curls waved behind the sculpted ears,black enamel glass Òflirty" eyes,painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line. Condition: very good,some possible long-ago retouch to hair. Comments: Germany,circa 1860. Value Points: wonderful large head with well- functioning flirty eyes (the interesting mechanism visible from underside of head); along with an early tiny paper mache taufling baby of rare-to-find bazaar quality,in fine original condition.
