German Paper Mache Lady Doll by Dressel with Original Body

Paper mache shoulder head of adult lady with slender face and elongated throat, blue glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with gentle smile, blonde mohair wig in upswept fashion, cloth body with paper mache lower arms and legs, painted yellow heeled boots with red high buttons and accents, wearing original parlor maid uniform. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Cuno and Otto Dressel, circa 1890, an identical model was also made in bisque by Gebruder Heubach. Value Points: rare model is preserved in pristine unplayed with condition, fine original complexion and painting, painted fancy yellow boots.
