11" (28 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head depicting adult lady with black sculpted hair arranged in long ringlet curls over each ear,and then drawn into a coiled chignon at the back with cascading curl below,painted blue eyes with black upper eyeliner,closed mouth,slender kid body with wooden lower limbs. Condition: good,the shoulderplate and lower legs are repainted. Comments: Germany,circa 1840. Value Points: the rare model wears her wonderful antique costume and undergarments.
