German Porcelain Ballerina Posed En Pointe by Dressel & Kister with Rare Jointed Arms

Elegant lady with one-piece porcelain head, torso and legs, the head turned slightly to the side, mohair wig, jointing at shoulders, her right leg posed en pointe and her left leg extended, painted green ballerina slippers, silk and tulle costume, presented on silk covered base. Excellent condition, two finger tips restored. Germany, Dressel & Kister, circa 1910, the popular ballerina model was presented in several variations including whether left or right foot was en pointe, with sculpted hair or mohair wig, and this very rare variation with jointed arms rather than standard attached arms.
