German Porcelain Half-Doll Depicting Purple Bonnet Girl, Unique Pose by Dressel & Kister

4" (10 cm.) Waist-up porcelain half-doll with sculpted lavender bonnet trimmed with green streamers, yellow jacket centering a striped center panel, unusual sculpting of arms modeled away in an expressive pose, the right arm extended below her base. Marks: (blue bishop's staff stamp). Excellent condition. Germany, Dressel and Kister, circa 1911, from a series of Dickens-like children, this is model 4116 from the 1911 Dressel & Kister catalog.
