Porcelain half-doll of flapper lady with painted black cloche with green accents has extended arms, holding a mirror in her right hand and a lipstick in her left which she holds up to her lips. The half-doll is wearing a gilt metallic halter which is attached to a flared metallic frame designed to appear as her skirt, and which covers the porcelain vanity bowl. The bowl frame is incised "France" and "Bte SGDG Depose". Excellent condition. For the French market, circa 1920, the charming ladylike scene is enriched by fine detail of casework, and complemented by metallic crest with amethyst jewel.
