6.5" (17 cm.) w. 8"h. Waist-up nude porcelain lady with black sculpted hair flowing onto her shoulders and decorated with a hair band and clusters of flowers, her arms modeled stretched away from her body with elegantly posed fingers. The half-doll is wearing a gilt metallic halter which is attached to a flared metallic frame designed to appear as her skirt, and which covers the porcelain vanity bowl. The bowl frame is marked "Bte SGDG Depose". Excellent condition, one finger tip restored. Ernst Bohne Sohne half-doll for the French market, circa 1920, exquisitely detailed filigree frame.
