German Porcelain Half-Doll "Lady with Dramatic Sunbonnet" by Dressel & Kister

11" (28 cm.) overall. 3 1/2" doll. Waist-up porcelain half-doll portraying an elegant lady with head demurely turned to the side and her arms daintily extended, sculpted grey hair tumbling onto her shoulders under a white sunbonnet with stovepipe top and blue ribbons and streamers, fancily-painted blouse with unusual grey collar and floral transfer-patterned blouse, attached to wire frame and with silk overlay skirt. Excellent condition. Germany, Dressel & Kister, circa 1910, an especially refined model with exquisite painting and details.
