5 1/2" (14 cm.) Waist-up porcelain half-doll with highly-dramatic theatrical costume and pose, with orange cap and lavish grey feathers, gold dangling earrings, gold bead harness, bracelets and belt, with orange shawl, with arms posed dramatically and right hand posed to hold a feather. Marks: 687. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1920, the figure appears to represent Theda Bara, the early silent film star as she appeared in various films and promotions.
