German Porcelain Lady in Dramatic Theatrical Costume

A slender-bodied porcelain lady is atop of very high porcelain base in semi-sideways pose, her arms extended and clasping the edges of gold-leaf tassels, her legs bent at the knees and with painted fancy slippers in orange and gold. Atop her head is a unique helmet-like coiffe with gold leaf edging and beading, and her dancing costume is also edged in gold leaf. Marks: (green stamp of crown over lettering). Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1935, Schaubach Kunst of Wallendorf. stunning detail of costume.
