German Porcelain "The Three Graces" on Candy Box for the French Market

8" (20 cm.) h. 6" diam. box. Posed upon the lid of a velvet and lace covered candy box are three full-figure nude ladies, their arms outstretched, depicting "The Three Graces", each with sculpted hair in the Grecian style and painted gold headbands with jewel accents. Generally excellent, tip of one hand is chipped. Germany, circa 1910, Dressel & Kister, for the French market, the petite figures, likely the smallest size made, are intricately sculpted and painted including gold headbands.
