6 1/2" (17 cm.) l. Standing on a red wooden-wheeled base with iron chassis are a white mohair pup with amber glass eyes and a white-tipped black mohair cat with green glass eyes. When the toy is pulled along, the animals appear to be running along backward and forward, independently. Very good condition, mechanism functions well, some mohair sparseness on face of pup. Germany, Steiff, from their line of "eccentric" toys, Germany, Steiff, circa 1927.
