Gorgeous Early French Bisque Bebe by Emile Jumeau with Signed Jumeau Shoes

14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, very large amber-brown glass inset eyes, black eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with prim lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, tiny flake to finish on upper crown, small chips on bottom of neck socket. Marks: 6/0 (?, incised) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1878.
