Bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulderplate with modeled bosom and shoulderblades, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with beautifully-defined and shaded lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair extended-length wig over cork pate, French kid bebe body with scalloped-edge collarette, hinged jointing of hips, kid-over-wooden upper arms, jointed elbows, original composition lower arms and hands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, Chevrot epoch, circa 1888. Value Points: grand exhibition size bebe of stunning beauty, possibly designed for the 1889 Paris International Exhibition, has original body, and is wearing a fabulous couturier costume which may be original.
