Grand German Porcelain Half-Doll "Lady in Rare Bonnet" by Aelteste Volkstedter

7" (18 cm.) Waist-up porcelain lady, her head turned to the side and downward, with sculpted brown hair in elaborate long flowing curls beneath a side-perched brown bonnet with wide-brim and large orange bow and with a yellow band and bow on the back, with low-bodice blouse with raised scallop edge collar, gathered sleeves, yellow bow, arms modeled away and clutching a rose. Marks: (N over crown blue stamp). Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1915, Aesteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrick, a rare large size of the elaborately-sculpted half-doll.
