7" (18 cm.) Waist-up porcelain lady with slender face and elongated throat, brown sculpted hair with arranged finger curls forming into a topknot encircled by an orange ribbon with streamers, finger curls tumbling onto her shoulders, downcast blue eyes with heavy eyelids, sculpted low-bodice blue blouse with white ruffled collar and cuffs, purple lacing ribbons, her arms modeled away from her bodice and held modestly in front, with Dresden rose in her right hand. Marks: 9559 (impressed). Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1900, attributed to Goebel, in rare large size with outstanding sculpting and painting.
