6 1/2" (17 cm.) Waist-up porcelain woman with grey/brown sculpted hair in side curls and with looped topknot decorated with a fancy gilt-edged hair comb, brown side-glancing flirty eyes, sculpted low-bodice blue blouse with three pink bows, sculpted and painted gold bead necklace with locket. Marks: (blue crossed arrows stamp). Excellent condition. French, Locre, circa 1910, the figure appeared in an early company catalog as model 13969 identified as "Louis-Philippe La Grisette" from a series of dolls representing women of specific periods of French history, this particular model depicting a flirtatious woman from the Louis-Philippe era of early 1800s.
