7 1/2" (19 cm.) h. and l. The porcelain vignette depicts a blonde-haired woman with long pink streamer ribbons seated at a garden chair with garlands of Dresden flowers draped over her gown, a table at her side and a young girl standing before her holding a little bouquet of flowers, with more Dresden flowers decorating her dress. The base is marked with a thimble-shaped blue stamp. Germany, circa 1910, the mother is the same model as the half-doll #169, in this catalog, with variation of this example having Dresden flowers in hair, and illustrates the manner in which porcelain models were created in various forms.
