Italian Cloth "Lucia" Doll in Green Trousers by Lenci

14" (36 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth, rosy cheeks, brunette mohair braids, felt body with shoulder and hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: made in Italy Lenci (cloth and paper labels, Lucia penciled on paper label). Comments: Lenci, circa 1935. Value Points: original costume is preserved in vibrant original orange and green colors with applique flowers on hat, two original paper labels. Provenance: the childhood collection of Jane Withers.
