This extraordinary collection of more than 700 rare French and German pieces spans 1900-1930s and features classic ladies of elegance as well as Art Deco and Art Nouveau themed figures of women. Many are presented as waist-up figures, while others have original pincushion or tea-cozy attachments, and still others form into delightful powder puffs, candy box lids, or bibelot boxes. Pair of bisque nude ladies are posed together side-by-side, one standing, the other seated on bench with arms held at the edges and right leg kicking outward, each with original mohair wig, and remnants of original factory net swimsuit, the standing model having white shoes with ankle wraps, and the seated model with pink one-strap shoes. Excellent condition. Germany, Galluba and Hoffman, circa 1915.
