The Private 50-Year Collection of Hanne Büktas of Vienna, Austria - Half Dolls, Tea Cozies, Pincushion, Bathing Beauties and Other Lady Figures. This extraordinary collection of more than 700 rare French and German pieces spans 1900-1930s and features classic ladies of elegance as well as Art Deco and Art Nouveau themed figures of women. Many are presented as waist-up figures, while others have original pincushion or tea-cozy attachments, and still others form into delightful powder puffs, candy box lids, or bibelot boxes. 6.5" (17 cm.) Porcelain full figure of young child posed upon self-base with gilt tasseled border, flowing brown hair captured beneath a pale lavender Charlotte cap with yellow ribbons which match the yellow ribbon at her throat, sculpted costume with transfer flower print pinafore having three rows of ruffles, pink shoes, with extended arms, each holding a pot filled with colorful Dresden flowers, and with a purple sack at the side with still more flowers. The costume decoration continues around the back with open pinafore. Marks: (Royal Vienna beehive mark). Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1915. Curiously, other examples of the identical model are marked with the Dressel and Kister bishop staff blue stamp and model 4836.

8" (20 cm.) Elegant lady with one-piece porcelain head, torso and legs, the head turned slightly to the side, mohair wig, jointing at shoulders, her right leg posed en pointe and her left leg extended, painted green ballerina slippers, silk and tulle costume, presented on silk covered base. Excellent condition, two finger tips restored. Germany, Dressel & Kister, circa 1910, the popular ballerina model was presented in several variations including whether left or right foot was en pointe, with sculpted hair or mohair wig, and this very rare variation with jointed arms rather than standard attached arms.

Porcelain waist-up figure of young girl with tousled grey curly hair decorated with a garland of Dresden flowers, with sculpted low-bodice blouse having Dresden corsage, and with arms held in front of her bodice (but modeled away from body), with intertwined clasped fingers. Excellent condition. Marks: (crown over N blue stamp). Germany, circa 1910, Ernst Bohne Sohne, exceptional detail of finger modeling and variegated flowers; the model was created with four front sew holes (two at bodice, and two at hips) designed to allow an actual bouquet of silk or fresh flowers to be attached as though held in her hands.
