Mask pressed and painted face with narrow black "O" shaped eyes,comma brows,V-shaped nose,tiny lips,round cheek blush,black yarn hair under red felt beanie cap,muslin stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips,sewn-on green plaid socks and grey flannel shoes. Wearing red cotton dress with white collar and cuffs,undergarment. Knickerbocker,circa 1940. Created by artist Marge Buell in 1935,the Little Lulu comic strip was a favorite of the young Jane Withers who felt an affinity with Lulu̴s rascality.
