Lovely French Bisque Bebe by Gaultier with Block Letter Signature

18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading,dark eyeliner encircles the eye sockets,painted lashes,brush stroked and feathered brows,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed mouth,tiny tongue tip,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French gusset-jointed body with bisque forearms,nicely costumed in white woolen dress with embroidery,undergarments,leather shoes,bonnet. Condition: generally excellent,few body patches. Marks: F 7 G. (head and shoulders). Comments: Gaultier,circa 1880. Value Points: early Gaultier model with perfect bisque hands,lovely face with soft blushing detail on eyelids,cheeks,and chin.
