waves,brown painted eyes,black feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth,all-wooden
body with articulation at shoulders,elbows,hips and knees,painted orange shoes,wearing antique
gentleman's suit of the period including vest. Condition: very good,original finish with some rubs
to finish. Comments: Germany,circa 1850. Value Points: rarer brown-eyed gentleman,wooden
body,original costume.

sculpted hair forming into uniform ringlet curls over the ears,and a rolled chignon at the
back,slightly-tinted complexion,blue upper-glancing eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,black
single-stroke brows,aquiline nose with accented nostrils,closed mouth with tentative smile,early
stitch-jointed both body with kid arms,wearing fine early pale green silk gown with lace and
ribbon trim,gold brooch,undergarments,slippers. Condition: generally excellent,tiny repair at
front corner sew hole,few rubs on brows. Marks: (KPM blue stamp). Comments: KPM Berlin,circa
1850. Value Points: elegant lady with rare coiffure,the ringlet curled style more commonly found

captured in a tightly-coiled braided chignon at the back,painted blue upper-glancing eyes in
well-defined sockets with encircling red eyeliner,brown feathered brows,aquiline nose with
slightly-upturned tip,closed mouth with very full lips,upturned lip corners,early muslin body
with porcelain lower limbs,painted black ankle boots,wearing fine antique dotted Swiss muslin
gown and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent,few typical paint rubs on hair. Marks:

sculpted gazing downward in a modest manner,heavily-modeled eyelids with black
eyeliner,arched brown brows,aquiline nose,closed mouth with outlined very full lips,muslin
stitch-jointed body,porcelain hands,nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
399W. Comments: from the series of Nymphenburg dolls created around the beginning of the
20th century,an aspect of the art movement in dolls at that time,the dolls owe an artistic
allegiance to certain 18th-century wooden dolls of the creche genre,particularly in their humble
downcast expression.

muslin stitch-jointed body and new porcelain limbs,nice brown taffeta gown of antique fabrics.

philosopher,he has a painted black pate at the back of his head,and wears a black cap with
