long ringlet curls over each ear,and then drawn into a coiled chignon at the back with cascading
curl below,painted blue eyes with black upper eyeliner,closed mouth,slender kid body with
wooden lower limbs. Condition: good,the shoulderplate and lower legs are repainted.

399W. Comments: from the series of Nymphenburg dolls created around the beginning of the
20th century,an aspect of the art movement in dolls at that time,the dolls owe an artistic
allegiance to certain 18th-century wooden dolls of the creche genre,particularly in their humble
