softly-waved away from her face and captured by a sculpted white hair bow,sculpted ears,eyes
sculpted gazing downward in a modest manner,heavily-modeled eyelids with black
eyeliner,arched brown brows,aquiline nose,closed mouth with outlined very full lips,muslin
stitch-jointed body,porcelain hands,nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
399W. Comments: from the series of Nymphenburg dolls created around the beginning of the
20th century,an aspect of the art movement in dolls at that time,the dolls owe an artistic
allegiance to certain 18th-century wooden dolls of the creche genre,particularly in their humble
downcast expression.

captured in a tightly-coiled braided chignon at the back,painted blue upper-glancing eyes in
well-defined sockets with encircling red eyeliner,brown feathered brows,aquiline nose with
slightly-upturned tip,closed mouth with very full lips,upturned lip corners,early muslin body
with porcelain lower limbs,painted black ankle boots,wearing fine antique dotted Swiss muslin
gown and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent,few typical paint rubs on hair. Marks:
