6" shoulder width. 17" overall length. A luxurious mauve velvet fabric with interwoven burgundy and cream abstract tulip design forms a dress with fitted yoke above box pleats that fall to the hem and are repeated at the back. The dress has a fitted neck,and very full sleeves with wide fitted cuffs. Circa 1885.
