Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and arched brows, rich mauve-blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1870. Value Points: exceptionally artistic quality of painting especially around the eyes, finest bisque, sturdy original body, wearing lovely lavender silk couturier costume, undergarments, leather heeled shoes marked C.C., bonnet.
