7" (18 cm.) All composition with jointing at shoulders and hips, painted blue side-glancing eyes, tiny closed mouth, blonde mohair curly wig, painted white socks and black shoes. He is wearing original costume of purple taffeta shorts, white shirt with ruffled collar, pink felt vest with blue rick-rack trim. The costume is tagged "Fiction Doll Hansel Madame Alexander". Near mint condition. Madame Alexander, 1937, the doll was made for one year only, and is presented in original presentation box with decorative lining and with original "Hansel" label.
