German Porcelain Half-Doll with Dramatic Eyes and Jewelry in Original Presentation

16" (41 cm.) overall. 5" doll. Waist-up porcelain figure of lady posed with dramatically tilted head to counterpoint her upheld left arm, black sculpted hair in arranged short curls, and attached to original wire frame designed for use as tea cozy, with lace and tinsel overskirt. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1915, the dramatic pose is accentuated by exaggerated make-up of eyes, and with beaded necklace, gilt bracelets and gilt earrings.
