5 1/2" (14 cm.) Brushed mohair brown/cream head over metal frame, amber eyes, stitched- on ears, metal torso containing mechanism, metal feet, original stitched-on felt costume and carrying a tin valise with design of goose body on the side and a bobbing goose head protruding from a hole at the side. When wound, he moves forward and twirls around in amusing fashion, while the goose bounces around. Excellent condition. Germany, Schuco, model 969, 1930s, rare fox in wonderfully-preserved condition, in original illustrated box.
