Porcelain shoulderhead, brown sculpted hair waved from face into short pageboy curl, held by black headband and black sculpted and painted snood, painted blue eyes, single-stroke brows, red and black upper eyeliner, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, painted pink ankle boots with green tassels. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: rarity factors include brown hair, deeply-sculpted snood, fancy painted boots, and wearing beautiful antique silk dress with velvet panels decorated with applique beads as though tiny berries.
