French Bisque Bebe by Gaultier with Early Block Letter Markings

Bisque socket head, large amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, fringed brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, shaded outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, body is not original but is appropriate of the era, style and size. Marks: F 6 G. (head) Jumeau Medaille d’Or Paris (body). Comments: Gaultier, circa 1880. Value Points: beautiful early period bebe with entrancing amber brown eyes, lovely bisque, original body finish.
