Bisque socket head,brown glass sleep eyes,painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,open mouth,shaded lips,four porcelain teeth,blonde mohair wig over plaster pate,composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Wearing antique maroon cashmere wool dress with rose silk bodice,bonnet,leather saddle shoes,undergarments,and carrying a small German all-bisque baby. The doll is marked "K made in Germany 14 146" on the head,and "Excelsior" on the body; the baby is marked 830. Germany,Kestner,circa 1900.
