3 " shoulder width. 8 " waist. 13" overall length. A finely-textured white pique gown has square-cut neckline,short sleeves,fitted bodice above a fitted waist,cartridge-pleated full skirt. The neckline,sleeve edge,bodice front,waist ruffles and hem are enhanced with scalloped-edge buttonhole embroidery. Included is a woven straw bonnet trimmed with black velvet,a woven chain of ecru circlets,ecru silk ribbon,and gilt clip. Circa 1860.
