6" (15 cm.) One-piece porcelain half doll,modeled
from hips-up,depicts a Renaissance style lady with
modeled gilt cap arranged over brown sculpted
curls,one arm held at her head as though to hold
the cap in place,the other arm waving,with painted
facial features,sculpted and painted costume
including flowered apron,decorated
fichu,ruffled-sleeve blouse. Marked with blue
stamp "Herend Hungary". Excellent condition. Circa
1920.
