Solid domed bisque head with flat-cut neck socket,painted blue glass eyes,painted lashes and single-stroke brows,closed mouth with accent line between the lips,brunette mohair wig,original body with dowel pin at neck for attachment to head,jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Sonneberg,circa 1880. Value Points: rare body style and neck attachment to to flat-cut head of the rare early doll,with expressive features,wearing antique communion costume including little coin purse.
