glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner
encircles the eyecut, painted lashes, mauve
blushed eyeshadow, widely arched brushstroked and
feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded
nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips,
dimpled chin and lip corners, separated applied
and pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork
pate, French composition and wooden fully jointed
body with straight wrists. Condition: generally
excellent, original body finish. Marks: Depose E.

Emile Jumeau, his first registered model bebe,
circa 1885, made for one or two years only. Value
Points: rare large size 12 of the gorgeous bebe
has superb bisque, painting and eyes, mohair wig,
original body, antique costume comprising cutwork
dress, undergarments, burgundy velvet coat and
cap, leather shoes with burgundy silk rosettes
signed "Paris Depose 12" with star symbol.
