Pink tinted bisque shoulderhead depicting handsome young lad, pressed detail of sculpted facial features and short curly brown hair with tousled details, stuck-out ears, intaglio grey eyes with very large black pupils, white eye dots, thick black and red eyeliner, short feathered brows over shaded undercoat, upturned nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open with heart-shaped upper lip, kid pin-jointed body, bisque forearms, fine antique costume comprising red coat, green velvet vest with red piping, white woolen trousers, striped knit stockings, leather shoes, undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Germany Heubach (in square) 8597. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: very rare previously undocumented model in fabulous large size allowing full expression of character modeling, finest quality bisque.
