7" (18 cm.) Each is all composition with painted blue side-glancing eyes, tiny closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, jointing at shoulders and hips, painted white stockings and flat black shoes. She is wearing pretty dress with purple taffeta skirt, organdy apron with lace trim which matches sleeve trim, pink felt cap with blue ribbons; and he is wearing blue cotton tunic, striped cotton pants and yellow cap with feather. Her costume is tagged "Gretl/Madame Alexander/NY USA/All Rights Reserved"; his is tagged "Madame Alexander New York USA". Excellent condition. Madame Alexander, 1937, the models were made for one year only; she is preserved in her original box.
